First things first, if you’re reading this Copper Creek One Bedroom Villa review and you haven’t read my Wilderness Lodge Review, make sure to check that out first to get an idea of what the entire Wilderness Lodge resort at Disney World is like (and then come straight back here!)
Copper Creek Villas are the newest Disney Vacation Club property at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, but unlike the Boulder Ridge Villas, they aren’t located in a separate building to the main lodge.
Instead, they have their own “wing” of the lodge – if you walk in from the front entrance and go right, they’re all off to that side.
We got upgraded from a Standard room to a Copper Creek One Bedroom Villa, and it was such a magical experience walking into this room, it’s hard to describe.
But of course, I WILL describe it, because what Copper Creek One Bedroom Villa review is complete without the review part?
Copper Creek One Bedroom Villa Need-to-Knows
There are three types of rooms at Copper Creek, the Copper Creek Studios, Copper Creek One Bedroom Villas, Copper Creek Two Bedroom Villas, Copper Creek Three Bedroom Grand Villas, and also waterfront cabins.
This review focuses on the Copper Creek One Bedroom Villas, but keep in mind that the majority of the décor and layout should be mostly the same in the Two Bedroom Villas.
Disney Vacation Club owners get first dibs in reserving the villas, but then they open up to the public and can be booked through the Disney website.
You can also stay here by renting DVC points.
They are going to run significantly more expensive per night than some of the regular Wilderness Lodge rooms (particularly the Standard view), but with that extra price you get a full kitchen, two bathrooms, and a separate bedroom, which is more than worth it to some families.
The Copper Creek one bedroom villas sleep 4 people, 2 in the bedroom and 2 on the fold-out sofa.

Copper Creek One Bedroom Villa Kitchen
When you first step foot in a one bedroom villa, the kitchen is straight ahead in a long corridor.
You’ve got everything you need and would expect in a kitchen, such as a full fridge, oven, microwave, beautiful sink, counter space, trash can space, plates, cutlery, AND a dishwasher (which is amazing because who really wants to have a villa with no dishwasher?)
This is the view from when you literally just step in the door, followed by pictures from other angles.
🚌Not renting a car in Orlando?
My favorite shuttle to get from the Orlando airport directly to Disney World is this one with a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating.
Copper Creek One Bedroom Villa Dining Room
Once you walk through the kitchen, you see the “dining room” on your left, which is essentially a table, a bench on one side, and three chairs that separate the end of the kitchen from the living room.
Copper Creek One Bedroom Villa Living Room
Completing the tour of the main living area are these pictures of the living room.
The couch is a fold-out couch, though we didn’t sleep on it because there were only 2 of us.
The center coffee table actually opened up to hold the pillows and blankets for the sofa, which was a clever use of space.
Finally, there’s a very large television, a comfortable arm chair, and a patio that opens up to your view (more on that in a bit).
Copper Creek One Bedroom Villa Bedroom
The bedroom in the Copper Creek One Bedroom villa is off to the left once you walk in, next to the two(!!) bathrooms.
And it is an oasis all unto itself.
Here’s the view from the entrance to the bedroom, with a mirror on the left and storage, desk, and television on the right.
Check out these adorable pictures on the wall when you first walk in – scroll down to see more on Copper Creek theming.
The little stool and desk are also super practical.
If you have someone on vacation who needs to get some work done while there, I would advise using the dining table as it’s much bigger, but as a place to get ready or put your laptop, the desk works well.
Also, the pattern on the stool is really cute.
On the opposite side of the room is the King sized bed and decor.
This bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, which says a lot for Disney, as this isn’t always the case, even in a Deluxe resort.
My absolute favorite part of the Copper Creek One Bedroom Villas is the rustic cut out of the headboard and the vibrant and colorful wall that separates the bedroom from the bathroom.
You also have access to a porch from the bedroom.
Finally, the bedroom also has storage in the form of drawers and an armoir, as well as a flat screen television so that those staying in the bedroom can watch something different than those staying in the living room sleep-out couch.
Copper Creek One Bedroom Villa Bathrooms
The bathrooms at Copper Creek are STUNNING.
I never knew I appreciated a luxury bathroom so much until staying here, and now I can’t get enough of the waterfall shower, amazing bathtub, and awesome tile work.
It gave me some serious inspiration for my bathroom back home (aka I want it to look exactly like these).
The bathroom right next to the bedroom has the most incredible bathtub right under the other side of the wall decor that you saw in the bedroom.
This isn’t see through, so they are two separate rooms, but it’s a nice touch to connect the rooms visually.
There is no toilet in this bathroom, just a bath and a sink and space to get ready.
The other bathroom is right next to this one, but when you come down the hallway off of the main living area, this one is on the left instead of the right.
This bathroom has a sink, a toilet, and the best shower you’ve ever experienced.
There is also a door connecting the two bathrooms that can be open or closed, which is why you see a reflection of the other bathroom in these pictures.
Copper Creek One Bedroom Villa Amenities
In addition to the bedroom, living room, kitchen, and dining room, you also get a washer and dryer, as well as an ironing board and other helpful amenities you’ll see in a minute.
This picture is taken from the entrance of the villa, turned to the left.
If you carried on to the right of the washer and dryer, you’d enter the kitchen.
If you carried on straight down this hallway, you have the bathroom with the shower to the left of the green storage, the bathroom with the bathtub to the right of the green storage, and then the bedroom to the right of that.
Copper Creek One Bedroom Villa Theming
In my opinion, Disney got a lot of things right when designing the Copper Creek One Bedroom Villas, but one of the things I love the most is how much thought went into the theming.
From the patterns on the floor to the coffee table books to the decor on the wall, everything really evokes this comfortable and pioneering vibe that fit so perfectly with the resort.
Copper Creek One Bedroom Villa Views
We were given a first floor villa with courtyard views, which we enjoyed immensely.
Especially in the evening when it had cooled off a bit, we were able to sit out on the porch and watch people go by.
As you can see from the picture below, there are two connected porches, 4 chairs in total, with one being accessible from the living room (the farther one in this picture) and one being accessible from the bedroom.
